I've spent a week or more feeling sad for myself because I guess almost everyone in the whole world but me is at SXSW right now, but if I'd really think about it, I'd remember how much I dislike crowds, festivals, and the sort. I do like music though and there's a lot of it going on there right now. I guess I'm just craving going to a good show, finances haven't really allowed for that recently. Maybe as the winter weather fades away, music shows will become a reality once again.
This week I've had some good time to listen to my iPod. I haven't done a ton of downloading lately; I had my mind on other things, but I'm making up for that today. I'm downloading a good 500 songs or so that will take me quite some time to plow through. It's been forever since I used my Daytrotter subscription so I'm catching up on that a bit today.
This week I was listening to some stuff I got from Paste mPlayer and happened across Cataldo -- loved it. Instantly searched my song list and was sad to find I only owned the one song from Paste (Prison Boxing). Eric Anderson's voice just stopped me in my tracks, so I had to start digging for more. Today, I've added to my collection!
Seriously, listen to this. If you don't like it, just don't talk to me anymore.
