Dinomite Tracks: Weeding through the list

I started the Dinomite Track section of my blog awhile back, but I haven't really used it much, so I thought I'd put it to some use today.

Over the past months, I haven't been blogging much, but that doesn't mean I haven't been thinking about doing it. Life has been busy and weird and not always easy over these last 6 months or so.

In any case, I've been keeping a list of artists when I find a song I like so I can go back and listen to more of their stuff and see how it floats my boat. If I find more stuff I like, I intend to blog about them... if I haven't yet, I probably will eventually. In some cases, I'll like a song, but that artist/band might not have that much stuff out there or maybe the other stuff that is out there just doesn't do it for me as much as the song that got them on the list. Sometimes, maybe I'm just having a weird day... either way, something got my attention, so it should be worth sharing at least the song that got my attention, maybe you'll like it too and if you don't... well, nobody forced you here.

Lost in the Trees - An Artist's Song
Check out their Daytrotter session too.

The ACB's - My Face
This is a local band. I've heard them live, although I had to leave pretty quickly after their set started. I haven't heard a lot of their stuff yet. It's on my to do list. Download Stona Rosa free and buy their new album too.

Natural Child - Baby
Maybe a little too rockabilly for my everyday taste, but fun for every know and again. Check out their Daytrotter session.

First Aid Kit - The Lion's Roar
I own a couple of songs that I don't mind listening to, but I don't think I'd want many more than that. I'm not a fan of their type of vocals too much.

Well, there's a few for you. I'm having some editing issues, so I'm going to give it a rest right now.

Dinoscore: Samantha Crain

I've been listening to Samantha Crain for a couple of years. Honestly, until this year I've only owned a couple of her songs, but this year I've accumulated several more. She's kind of like a blue grass version of Brandi Carlisle without being too blue grass or too Brandi Carlisle.

Sure, maybe I don't love every single song I own, but I like them all. I don't want to stab my earholes off when I listen (which is more than can be said about some of the music I have).

You can check out some of her stuff on Daytrotter. I've also picked up some tracks on Amazon in samplers and more of her music from locations I can't recall.
