Actually, I've been listening to The Apache Relay for over a year now, I just hadn't told you about it yet. I'm not quite sure how I came across their American Nomad album, but they've also been on Daytrotter and NoiseTrade. This summer, I went to see another band and got there for the opening act and was surprised to see it was The Apache Relay. The headliner didn't impress much, so I found myself wishing I'd known to be there earlier to see the full opening set.
These guys have that good, indie rock sound that is going around. If you have a chance to see them live, I'd recommend it.
