I downloaded John Fullbright's session from Daytrotter. I have some country tendencies from my upbringing and his sound is like mom's home cooking (I'm not counting the Hamburger Helper era of the late 80s). He's not country, but he's not Indie Folk like I typically go for now. I just find myself really liking his music...which I'd guess is about what any musician would want. Right?
If you're not into Daytrotter yet (although I may no longer speak to you), you can currently get one freebie song from Amazon. I see myself purchasing Live At the Blue Door and From the Ground Up soon. Baby Dinosaur is a little broke right now, so it's gotta stay on the wish list for now.
