Recently Extinct: Russell Howard

I downloaded "Too Soon, Too Late" from NoiseTrade, a recent offering by Russell Howard. Often NoiseTrade offerings are for a limited time, but at least for right now, he has a sampler available you can check out. Sampler

One thing about NoiseTrade, you have to be careful to watch the artist bio, which in this case suggests "For Fans of: David Gray, Mumford & Sons, Amos Lee, Josh Ritter, Mat Kearney" which fits me well. The music is fine, but his singing voice just doesn't cut it. I'm one of those people that can tell if I like a song in about 5 seconds, but he tricks me everytime. I think "Oh, this is a good song..." When he starts singing, I cringe.
